Taiwan has signed double taxation agreements with a number of countries. An updated list of applicable tax treaties can be found on the Ministry of Finance website.
In order to apply for the benefits associated with a double tax agreement, the taxpayer is required to submit a set of documents to the local district tax office for pre-approval.
